Quick update...

Tomorrow I'm going with the campus ministry-like group at UCC to Ardmore and Youghal. Ardmore is supposedly the first monastic settlement in Ireland and Youghal is "Ireland's premier coastal resort" (at least according to the tourism website). I'll post some envy-inducing pictures of the beach and coastal walks, as long as the weather permits such frivolities.

    Can't wait to see pictures! You are missing a great time in Minnesota - yet another snow storm!!! But it is supposed to finally stay above zero for at least a few days in a row.

    That's what I heard! People in Cork are freaking out because they aren't used to snow or ice in any amount, and apparently this is the coldest period that anyone can recall. They don't use ice on the roads so there have been a few bus and plane delays. But I think it's supposed to get warmer here, too!
